To kill a Kingdom review

 To kill a kingdom is a twist on a usual story people know as a fairy tale. It's a unique book that anyone will surely fall in love with. The story talks about a young princess siren named Lira. She has collected 17 hearts throughout her life and is considered one of the deadliest of her kind. However, one day, she is forced to kill one of her kind (siren), which leads to her mother, the queen, transforming her into the one thing they dread the most, a human. Fortunately, not all is lost. If she wants to revert into a siren, she must obtain the of prince Elian and deliver it to the sea queen; otherwise, she will remain a human forever.  I personally loved this book. I liked all the twists and turns that it had, along with the many accounted-for suspense. I mostly liked the depth of the characters and how in tune they were with each other.
